In a shocking incident from Tarinigada in Paradip, a young student was allegedly gang raped for nearly six and a half hours—from around 10 PM to 4 AM—before being pushed off a rooftop in an attempt to stage her murder as suicide. Police say the accused, an unidentified non-Odia youth, sexually assaulted the victim inside a rented house and later threw her from the roof. Her blood-soaked, partially unclothed body was recovered.
