Some young government officers in Odisha are under discussion after videos surfaced showing them making social media reels during office hours. These officials were seen posing for photographs and recording videos after stepping away from their work desks.

Over the last few days, videos shot inside Lok Seva Bhavan, the power centre of the Odisha administration, and even within the Legislative Assembly premises have been uploaded on social media. The clips reportedly show officers taking short breaks from file work to record reels for online platforms, which they later shared to gain appreciation.

According to information available, the officers involved are Assistant Section Officers. Their actions have sparked debate over work culture and the growing influence of social media among young bureaucrats, especially within important government institutions.
