Gajapati Police have cracked a series of house burglaries that terrorised Paralakhemundi and nearby areas for months, arresting a two-member gang that led a luxurious lifestyle funded entirely by stolen jewellery.The mastermind, Durga Prasad Benia from Kandra Sahi, worked as a meter reader for TPSODL (TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited). His accomplice, Deb Mandal, assisted him in the crimes.
