Gold and silver prices witnessed sharp fluctuations in the bullion market today, creating widespread confusion among consumers. Silver prices fell steeply by nearly ₹20,000 per kg, bringing the rate down to around ₹2.80 lakh per kg. Gold prices also showed a downward trend, with 24-carat gold dropping by ₹2,070 to ₹1,52,350 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold fell by ₹1,900 to ₹1,39,650 per 10 grams.
