ସମାଜରେ କ୍ରାନ୍ତି ଆଣିବାକୁ ଯାଇ ନୂଆ ଗଣତାନ୍ତ୍ରିକ ସମାଜ ଗଠନ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ନେଇ ଛାତ୍ର ଯୁବ ସଂଗ୍ରାମ କମିଟିରେ ସାମିଲ ହୋଇଥିଲେ। ପରେ ଘରେ କାହାକୁ ନଜଣାଇ ୨୦୦୪ରେ ମାଓ ଶିବିରକୁ ଆସିଥିଲେ। ବାସ ସେହିଦିନୁ ମାଓ ସାମ୍ରାଜ୍ୟର ସେ ବିନଥିଲେ ସର୍ଦ୍ଦାର । ଟପ୍‌ ମାଓନେତ୍ରୀ ତଥା ସିପିଏମ ରାଜ୍ୟ କମିଟି ସଦସ୍ୟା ରଶ୍ମିତା ଲେଙ୍କା, ଘର କଟକ ଜିଳ୍ଲାର ଟାଙ୍ଗୀ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ। ମାଓ ଶିବିରରେ ଇନ୍ଦୁ, ଅଙ୍କିତା ନାମରେ ପରିଚିତ। କମିଟିର ଜଣାଶୁଣା ଚେହେରା ନିଖିଲଙ୍କୁ ବିବାହ କରିଥିଲେ ଇନ୍ଦୁ । ଏବେ ଏହି ମାଓ କପଲ ସାରା ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଚର୍ଚ୍ଚାର କେନ୍ଦ୍ରବିନ୍ଦୁ ପାଲଟିଛନ୍ତି।
After nearly 20 years in the jungles as part of the Bansadhara-Ghumusar-Nagabali division, the pair laid down arms amid intensified anti-Maoist operations. Police sources indicate that the outfit has faced a leadership vacuum following the neutralization or surrender of several senior figures in recent years.
