The Kothishala Jatra of Ganjam is a traditional village festival that continues to thrive despite modern influences. Villagers believe the goddess appears in the form of Kalisis to bless them. During the procession, devotees carry pots, some become spiritually possessed, and rituals like walking through fire pits are performed. The festival also features folk performances at night and serves as a symbol of unity, faith, and cultural heritage for the community.
