୧୦୦ ବର୍ଷ ହେଲା ଗାଁକୁ ଛୁଇଁ ପାରିନି ହଇଜା। ମାଆ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀଙ୍କ କରୁଣା ପାଇଁ ଚାଲିଛି ଏହି ପୂଜା। କେଉଁଠି ଅପରେସନ୍ ସିନ୍ଦୁର ତ କେଉଁଠି ବଡ଼ ଦେଉଲର ଢାଞ୍ଚାରେ ତିଆରି ହୋଇଚି ସୁଉଚ୍ଚ ତୋରଣ। ଆଉ ସୁନ୍ଦର ସୁସଜ୍ଜିତ ମଣ୍ଡପରେ ପୂଜା ପାଉଛନ୍ତି ଧନଦାତ୍ରୀ ମାଆ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀ ।

The entire Nabapatana village in Jagatsinghpur district of Odisha is glowing with lights and devotion as villagers celebrate the century-old Lakshmi Puja with grandeur. The tradition began nearly 100 years ago after a cholera outbreak in Dhuna Das Sahi.
