A Shivling was discovered beneath farmland in Unit 16 of Aniruddhapur village near Jajpur Municipality after a tractor plough struck a buried structure three days ago. The land belongs to Radheshyam Pati and Rabinarayan Pati. After digging with a JCB machine, a 2-foot-high Shivling was unearthed.

Local residents claim that after offering honey, ghee, and water during पूजा (worship), the colour of the Shivling appeared to change. However, the priest has rejected the claim, stating that when water is poured on a stone idol, its colour may temporarily appear different, but it naturally returns to normal once dry.
