କନ୍ଧମାଳ ଚକାପାଦ ଜଙ୍ଗଲରେ ବଡ଼ ମାଓ ଅପରେସନ ପରେ ଫେରିଲେ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ବାହିନୀ। ଜବତ ମାଓ ସାମଗ୍ରୀ ସହ ମୃତଦେହ ଧରି ଫୁଲବାଣୀ ପୋଲିସ ରିଜର୍ଭ ପଡିଆକୁ ଫେରିଲା ସୁରକ୍ଷା ବାହିନୀ। ଓଡିଶା ମାଓ ଅପରେସନରେ ସବୁଠୁ ବଡ଼ ସଫଳତା ଭାବେ ଟପ୍ କ୍ୟାଡର ନେତା ଗଣେଶକୁ ନିହତ କରିଛନ୍ତି ସୁରକ୍ଷାକର୍ମୀ। ଦୁର୍ଦ୍ଦାନ୍ତ ଗଣେଶଙ୍କ ସହ ୪ ଜଣ ମାଓବାଦୀ ନିହତ ହୋଇଥିଲେ। ବିପୁଳ ପରିମାଣର ମାଓ ସାମଗ୍ରୀ ଜବତ ହୋଇଛି।

Security forces returned after a major anti-Maoist operation in the Chakapada forest area of Kandhamal district. Carrying the bodies of slain Maoists along with seized materials, the forces reached the Phulbani Police Reserve Ground.

In what is being described as one of the biggest successes of Odisha’s anti-Maoist operations, security personnel neutralised top Maoist cadre Ganesh. Four Maoists, including the dreaded leader Ganesh, were killed during the operation.

A huge cache of Maoist materials was also recovered from the encounter site, highlighting the scale and significance of the operation carried out by the security forces.
