Rourkela's Bishra Chowk Liquor Shop Busted: Spurious Foreign Liquor Made by Mixing Water & Chemicals Seized, 3 Arrested

In a major crackdown, the Excise Department raided a foreign liquor shop at Bishra Chowk in Rourkela city, uncovering an illegal operation where sealed IMFL bottles were opened, mixed with water and chemicals to create fake liquor, and sold to customers. Three accused have been arrested, 40 litres of counterfeit foreign liquor seized, and the shop sealed. Investigations are underway to determine the motive, circumstances, and any larger network or additional involvement behind this adulteration racket, raising serious public health concerns.
