ମାଟି ତଳୁ ହାତୀ 'ରାମୁ'ର କଙ୍କାଳ ଉଦ୍ଧାର। ୮ ଘଣ୍ଟାର ନନଷ୍ଟପ୍ ଅପରେସନ୍ ପରେ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେଲା ଉଦ୍ଧାର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ। ଭରତପୁର ଜଙ୍ଗଲରେ ମାଟି ତଳୁ 'ରାମୁ'ର କଙ୍କାଳ ଉଦ୍ଧାର ହୋଇଛି। ରାମୁର ୨ଟି ଦାନ୍ତ ମଧ୍ୟ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରାଯାଇଛି। ଗୋଟିଏର ଓଜନ ୪ କିଲୋ, ଅନ୍ୟଟିର ଅଢ଼େଇ କିଲୋ। ପ୍ରାଣୀବିଜ୍ଞାନୀଙ୍କ ନେତୃତ୍ବରେ ୨୫ ଜଣିଆ ଟିମ୍ ଦ୍ବାରା ଏସବୁ ଦେହାବଶେଷ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରାଯାଇଛି। ଗୋଡ଼ିବାରି ପ୍ରକୃତିନିବାସରେ ସଂରକ୍ଷିତ ରହିବ ରାମୁ ହାତୀର କଙ୍କାଳ। ଗତବର୍ଷ ଅଗଷ୍ଟ ୧୯ରେ ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ ଆଘାତରେ ରାମୁର ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ହୋଇଥିଲା।

The skeletal remains of elephant Ramu were recovered from beneath the soil in Bharatpur Forest after an intense eight-hour non-stop operation. The recovery was carried out by a 25-member team led by wildlife experts, who successfully retrieved the complete skeleton along with two tusks.
