ମା’ କ୍ଷୀରରେ ୟୁରାନିୟମ । ମା’ କ୍ଷୀରରେ ରହିଛି ତେଜସ୍କ୍ରିୟ ଧାତୁ ୟୁରାନିୟମ (U-238)। ବିହାରରେ ଏଭଳି ତଥ୍ୟ ସାମ୍ନାକୁ ଆସିବା ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିଛି । ବିହାରରେ ୪୦ ଜଣ ମା’ଙ୍କ କ୍ଷୀରର ନମୁନା ଯାଞ୍ଚ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା । ଆଉ ପରେ ଫଳାଫଳ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟଜନକ ଥିଲା । ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ନମୁନାରେ ୟୁରାନିୟମ ଥିବା ଜାଣିବାକୁ ପାଇଥିଲେ ବିଶେଷଜ୍ଞ । ଖାଲି ସେତିକି ନୁହେଁ, ବିହାରର କଟିହାର ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ମା’ କ୍ଷୀରରେ ସର୍ବାଧିକ ୟୁରାନିୟମ ସ୍ତର ଥିବା ରେକର୍ଡ କରାଯାଇଛି ।ଏବଂ ପରେ ଖଗାରିଆରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ୟୁରାନିୟମ ଥିବା ମା’ କ୍ଷୀର ଚିହ୍ନଟ ହୋଇଛି ।

A startling new study in Bihar has revealed the presence of radioactive uranium (U-238) in mothers’ milk across the state. In tests of 40 milk samples, each sample was found to contain uranium, with the highest levels recorded in Katihar district and further elevated in Khagaria district.

Experts expressed alarm at the findings, citing potential health risks for infants. A spokesman said, “Every sample we tested contained uranium, which was surprising given the milk’s role in infant nutrition.”

The analysis points to possible environmental contamination affecting lactating women in Bihar, marking this as a serious public health concern that demands immediate attention and further investigation.
