ଆଜି ହେଉଛି ପଶ୍ଚିମ ଓଡିଶାର ବଡ ପର୍ବ ପୁଷପୁନୀ ବା ପୌଷପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣିମା | ବର୍ଷ ଯାକ ପରିଶ୍ରମ କରି ଚାଷ କରିଥିବା ଚାଷୀ ପୌଷମାସରେ ଫସଲକୁ ଘରକୁ ନେଇଥାଏ | ଭୋଜିଭାତରେ ପୁଷ୍ପପୁନି ଉତ୍ସବ ପାଳନ କରେ ଚାଷୀ । ହେଲେ ଧାନ ବିକ୍ରି ହୋଇ ପାରୁ ନ ଥିବାରୁ ଚାଷୀ ହାତ ଖାଲି। ତେଣୁ କାନ୍ଦୁଛି ଚାଷୀ, ଶୁଣୁନି ପ୍ରଶାସନ ।
Today marks Pushpuni, also known as Pausha Purnima, one of the biggest festivals of western Odisha. After working hard throughout the year, farmers bring home their harvested crops during the Pausha month and traditionally celebrate the festival with food and family.
