President Draupadi Murmu to Address Odisha Legislative Assembly Winter Session Today

ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବରରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଲେ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରପତି ଦ୍ରୌପଦୀ ମୁର୍ମୁ। ବିମାନବନ୍ଦରରେ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରପତିଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ୱାଗତ କଲେ ରାଜ୍ୟପାଳ ଓ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ। ଏହାପରେ ବିମାନବନ୍ଦରରୁ ସିଧା ରାଜଭବନ ଅଭିମୁଖେ ଗଲା କାରକେଡ୍‌। ସେଠାରେ କିଛି ସମୟ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ପରେ ଅପରାହ୍ନରେ ବିଧାନସଭା ଶୀତ ଅଧିବେଶନକୁ ସମ୍ବୋଧିତ କରିବେ ମହାମହିମ।

President Draupadi Murmu arrived in Bhubaneswar today and was warmly received at the airport. She proceeded directly to Raj Bhavan by motorcade, where she rested before her scheduled afternoon address to the Odisha Legislative Assembly winter session.

Officials stated that the President’s address will mark her first speech to the Assembly, highlighting the importance of the winter session and her engagement with state legislative matters.

The visit underscores the ceremonial and constitutional role of the President in connecting with state governance, while also reflecting Odisha’s recognition and celebration of a native daughter attaining the nation’s highest constitutional office.
