President Draupadi Murmu to Address Odisha Assembly

#ବିଧାନସଭାରୁ_ସ୍ମୃତି_ସାଉଁଟିବେ_ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରପତି
ଆଜି ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଆସିବେ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରପତି ଦ୍ରୌପଦୀ ମୁର୍ମୁ। ବିଧାନସଭା ଶୀତ ଅଧିବେଶନକୁ ସମ୍ବୋଧିତ କରିବେ। ପ୍ରଥମ ଥର ପାଇଁ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ବିଧାନସଭାରେ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରପତି ଉଦବୋଧନ ଦେବାର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ରହିଛି। ବିଧାନସଭାରେ ଅଭିଭାଷଣ ରଖିବା ପରେ ୧୧ ନମ୍ବର ରୁମକୁ ଆସି ସମୟ ବିତାଇବେ ମହାମହିମ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରପତି ଦ୍ରୌପଦୀ ମୁର୍ମୁ। ୨୦୦୦ରୁ ୨୦୦୪ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପରିବହନ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଥିବା ବେଳେ ୧୧ ନଂ ଚାମ୍ବର ଥିଲା ତାଙ୍କ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାଳୟ। ତେଣୁ ବିଧାନସଭାରୁ ସ୍ମୃତି ସାଉଁଟିବା ବେଳେ ଏହି ଚାମ୍ବରରେ କିଛି ସମୟ ବିତାଇବେ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରପତି।

President of India, Draupadi Murmu, will visit Odisha today to address the winter session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly. This marks the first-ever instance of a President delivering an address in the state Assembly.

After the address, President Murmu will spend time in Room No. 11, a place of personal significance as it served as her office when she was the Transport Minister from 2000 to 2004.

The Assembly and the historic room have been specially prepared to receive the President, highlighting both the ceremonial importance of the address and the personal connection she maintains with the state.
