ତାଳଚେରରେ ପ୍ରଦୂଷଣରେ ବ୍ରେକ ଲଗାଇବାକୁ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପ୍ରଶାସନର କଟକଣାକୁ ମାନୁନାହାନ୍ତି କେହି। ବେଧଡକ ଭାବରେ ସହରରେ ଶହ ଶହ ଭାରିଯାନ ଚଳାଚଳ କରୁଛି। ଟ୍ରେନ୍ ଓ ଟ୍ରକରେ ଖୁଲମଖୋଲା ବିନା ଜରିପାଲ ଘୋଡାଇ ଚାଲିଛି କୋଇଲା ପରିବହନ। ଦିନରେ ତିନିଥର ସହର ରାସ୍ତାରେ ପାଣି ସିଞ୍ଚନ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଥିବାବେଳେ ଆଜି ବୁନ୍ଦାଏ ବି ପାଣି ପକାଯାଇ ନଥିବା ଲୋକ ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସେହିପରି ତାଳଚେର ସହରରେ ଥିବା ବସ୍ତିରେ କୋଇଲା ଆଞ୍ଚ କରି ରୋଷେଇ କରଛନ୍ତି ଲୋକ। ପ୍ରଶାସନର ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ କେବଳ ଧର୍ମକୁ ଆଖିଠାର ବୋଲି ତାଳଚେର ବାସିନ୍ଦା କହିଛନ୍ତି।

Despite strict orders by the district administration to curb pollution in Talcher, the directives are allegedly being ignored. Hundreds of heavy vehicles continue to ply through the city, while coal is transported openly by trains and trucks without tarpaulin cover. Locals complain that even mandated water sprinkling on roads is not being carried out, worsening pollution. Residents allege that administrative orders exist only on paper.
