In Salia Sahi, Bhubaneswar, local police uncovered drums of country liquor (desi mad) stored inside residences, prompting a major action to prevent illegal alcohol circulation. Officers seized the stockpiled liquor and poured it out to destroy it, stepping up enforcement against unlicensed liquor storage and sale in the area.

“Our team found multiple drums filled with illicit desi liquor inside homes,” said a police official involved in the operation. “We poured out and destroyed all the liquor on site to stop it from entering the market and posing health risks.”

Visuals from the scene show the extensive quantity of liquor being emptied and rendered unusable as part of the crackdown. Salia Sahi has been the focus of repeated actions against illegal desi liquor production and storage, with authorities aiming to curb the spread of hooch and ensure community safety.
