OTV reached the alleged Maoist murder spot in the Tarabadi forest of Kandhamal district to assess the ground situation. Hardcore Maoist leader Shukru is accused of killing his associate Anvesh and burying the body in the Forest area. A body recovered from beneath the soil is suspected to be that of the notorious Maoist Anvesh.

Officials from the Scientific Team visited the spot and collected samples related to the murder. The killing is being seen as an act of intimidation against Maoists attempting to renounce violence and join the mainstream.
