A factional war has broken out in the Odisha Congress, with old divisions resurfacing as senior leaders confront youth members. The controversy centers around PCC President Mokim, who is being publicly targeted by the younger leaders after the recent Nuapada by-election defeat.

While Mokim is trying to heal the rift within the top echelons, Niranjan has launched scathing criticism — referred to as “Ravana arrows” — against his detractors. Meanwhile, some youth leaders are reportedly planning a trip to Delhi to escalate their protest against what they call favoritism.
