Odisha Youth’s Mortal Remains Return from Saudi After 9 Days

The mortal remains of Pramod Sahu, a 46-year-old resident of Kul-Samitanga village in Salepur under Cuttack district, were brought back to Odisha from Saudi Arabia nine days after his death. He had died of a heart attack on February 13 in Saudi Arabia, where he was working as a Mechanical Project Manager in a company.

As the body could not initially be brought back to his native land, the family sought assistance from Baijayant Panda, BJP National Vice President and MP from Kendrapara. Following his intervention, the repatriation process was initiated.

After coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs and the Embassy of India, Riyadh, the mortal remains arrived at Biju Patnaik International Airport and were later sent to his native village in Salepur. The Kendrapara MP expressed gratitude to the Ministry and Embassy authorities for their support.
