Today marks the first day of the Matric (Class 10) Examination in Odisha, India, conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha. Students appeared for the Modern Indian Language paper — Odia at over 3,082 centres across the state, with more than 5.61 lakh candidates sitting for the exam. The examinations will continue until 2 March 2026 under strict measures including QR codes, watermarks and AI-enabled CCTV monitoring to ensure a fair and smooth conduct.
