Bhubaneswar, Odisha: More than a hundred laid-off Home Guards have formally lodged complaint letters with the Chief Minister of Odisha, seeking reappointment after being retrenched without reason. The grievance was submitted today during the Chief Minister’s public grievance hearing session, where the affected workers narrated how their sudden job loss has left them unable to support their families. Among those who submitted complaints was Ranjan Behera, one of the retrenched Home Guards.
