The Odisha Government has declared full preparedness to tackle the approaching cyclone. Revenue Minister reviewed the state’s cyclone preparedness, stating that all departments have been placed on high alert and the government’s top priority is achieving “zero casualty.”

The Minister urged people not to panic, assuring that rescue and relief mechanisms are in place. Meanwhile, evacuation operations have begun in Ganjam and Gajapati districts as a precautionary measure. To ensure safety, schools across eight districts have been closed till the 30th of this month.

The state administration continues to coordinate with district authorities and disaster response teams to minimize the cyclone’s impact and safeguard human lives.
