Odisha Govt Extends Chit Fund Refund Deadline to March 31; Big Depositors Still Await Clarity

ଚିଟଫଣ୍ତ କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ର ଜମାକାରୀଙ୍କ ଟଙ୍କା ଫେରସ୍ତ ଅବଧିକୁ ବଢାଇଲେ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର। ଜାନୁଆରୀ 31 ବଦଳରେ ମାର୍ଚ୍ଚ 31 ଯାଏଁ ଜାରି ରହିବ ଟଙ୍କା ଫେରସ୍ଥ ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟା। କିନ୍ତୁ ବଡ ଜମାକାରୀଙ୍କ ପାଳି କେବେ ତାକୁ ନେଇ ଉଠିଛି ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ।
The Odisha government has extended the refund deadline for chit fund small depositors from January 31 to March 31. While over 3 lakh small investors have already received refunds and the process continues for another 5 lakh, concerns are growing over the delay for big depositors. With nearly 70 lakh chit fund victims in the state, the Chit Fund Affected Joint Forum has warned of protests, alleging the government is ignoring large investors.
