To make his message more impactful, Majhi shared a personal example about losing a friend in a road accident, underscoring the emotional cost of careless behaviour while driving. His remarks aimed to remind people that road safety is not only a policy priority but a shared human responsibility.

Odisha has actively promoted road safety through campaigns like “Come Home Safe” and the Sadak Suraksha Rath tour, along with the creation of new traffic police posts and district-wide awareness efforts to reduce accidents and fatalities across the state.
