ବଢ଼ିପାରେ ବିଧାନସଭା ଆସନ ସଂଖ୍ୟା। ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ବିଧାନସଭା ସୀମା ପୁନଃ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧାରଣ ନେଇ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଦେଲେ ବଡ ସଂକେତ। ବିଧାନସଭାରେ ବଢ଼ିପାରେ ଆଉ ୫୦ ସିଟ ସଂଖ୍ୟା। ଏବେ ୧୪୭ ଅଛି ଯାହା ୨୦୦କୁ ବଢିପାରେ। ଏହାକୁ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ରଖି 300 ସଦସ୍ୟ ବସିବା ଭଳି ନୂଆ ବିଧାନସଭା ନିର୍ମାଣ କରାଯାଉଛି। ସେଣ୍ଟ୍ରାଲ ଭିଷ୍ଟା ଢାଞ୍ଚାରେ ନୂଆ ଲୋକସେବା ଭବନ ଏବଂ ନୂଆ ବିଧାନସଭା ସୌଧ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରାଯିବ ବୋଲି କହିଛନ୍ତି ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ।

The number of Odisha Legislative Assembly seats may increase, with the Chief Minister of Odisha giving a strong indication about re-delimitation of Assembly constituencies in the state. At present, Odisha has 147 Assembly seats, which could rise by around 50 more, taking the total close to 200 seats. This signal points to a possible restructuring of Assembly boundaries in the future.

Keeping the potential increase in mind, the Chief Minister stated that a new Legislative Assembly building is being constructed with seating capacity for 300 members. This suggests long-term planning for an expanded Assembly and increased representation.
