A serious fire safety lapse has come to light in Bhubaneswar. According to District Fire Officer Narayan Das, the Supermart building near Lingipur had no fire safety arrangements in place.

Speaking on the issue, Narayan Das stated that there was a complete absence of fire safety systems in the commercial building, raising major concerns over compliance and public safety.

The revelation has triggered questions about safety checks and enforcement in commercial establishments in the city.
