A major fire tore through a supermarket near Lingipur in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, late on Monday night, reducing stock to ashes and causing extensive financial loss, according to preliminary reports. The blaze erupted suddenly around 10 PM and spread quickly, fuelled by flammable materials stored inside the premises, challenging firefighters who battled the inferno for more than six hours.
