Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a roundtable meeting with a group of 12 Indian AI startups ahead of the upcoming India AI Impact Summit 2026 to discuss the roadmap for making India a global AI hub. The meeting took place at Prime Minister’s residence in Delhi where Modi engaged with founders and leaders from startups working on innovative AI solutions, including foundational models, multilingual technologies, generative AI and healthcare applications.
