Missing Youth as Car Plunges into Birupa River Near Cuttack

କଟକ ଜଗତପୁର ଥାନା ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ଆଇବି ରୋଡ୍ ସ୍ଥିତ ବିରୂପା ନଦୀ ପଣ୍ଡାସାହି ତୁଠରେ ଗତ ରାତରେ ଏକ ଅଭାବନୀୟ ଘଟଣା ଘଟିଛି । ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱରରୁ କାରଟି ଦ୍ରୁତ ଗତିରେ କଟକ ଆସିଥିବା ବେଳେ ହଠାତ୍ ବ୍ରିଜରୁ ଖସି ବିରୂପା ନଦୀରେ ପଶି ଯାଇଥିଲା। ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଲୋକେ ଓ ଅଗ୍ନିଶମ ବାହିନୀ ତୁରନ୍ତ ସର୍ଚ୍ଚ ଅପରେସନ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରି ଜଣଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିଥିବା ବେଳେ ଚାଳକଙ୍କ ପତ୍ତା ମିଳୁନି। ଆଜି ବି ଉଦ୍ଧାର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେବ ।
A tragic accident unfolded today when a car carrying five friends from Bhubaneswar to Cuttack fell into the Birupa River at the Pandasahi-Tuthara stretch under Jagatpur Police Station. Among them, Udit Narayan Sahu — a youth from Lingipur area under Dhaulipr Police Station, Bhubaneswar — went missing. Rescue operations were initiated last night, recovering the vehicle from the river, though Udit was not found inside.
