ଶ୍ରୀମନ୍ଦିରରେ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହେବ ମକର ସଂକ୍ରାନ୍ତିର ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ନୀତିକାନ୍ତି | ଏହାର ପୂର୍ବଦିନ ଅର୍ଥାତ ଆଜି ଶ୍ରୀମନ୍ଦିରରେ ଶ୍ରୀଜଗନ୍ନାଥ ମହାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନବାଙ୍କ ବେଶ ସହ ଚାଉଳ ମେଳାଣ ଓ ଫୁଲ ମେଳାଣ ଉତ୍ସବ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହେବ। ଧନୁ ସଂକ୍ରାନ୍ତି ଠାରୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଥିବା ମହାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପହିଲି ଭୋଗର ଅନ୍ତିମ ଦିବସ। ଆଜି ବଡ଼ସିଂହାର ବେଶରେ ସଜେଇ ହେବେ ତିନି ଠାକୁର ।
Special ritual observances for Makar Sankranti will be held at Shree Mandir. A day before the festival, Shree Jagannath Mahaprabhu will be adorned in Nabanka Besha, along with the performance of Chaul Melana and Phula Melana rituals at the temple today.
