କଟକରେ ଲୟର୍ସ ଏକାଡେମୀ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବ ଗୃହୀତ। AG ପୀତାମ୍ବର ଆଚାର୍ଯ୍ୟଙ୍କ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷତାରେ ଆଇନଜୀବୀ କଲ୍ୟାଣ ପାଣ୍ଠି କମିଟିର ଗୁରୁତ୍ବପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବୈଠକରେ ଲୟର୍ସ ଏକାଡେମୀ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ନେଇ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାରଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁରୋଧ ପାଇଁ ହୋଇଛି ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି। ତା'ସହ ୯୦ ଜଣ ମୃତ ଆଇନଜୀବୀ ପରିବାରକୁ ୩ କୋଟି ୮୬ ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କାର ଅର୍ଥ ରାଶି ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯାଇଛି।

The State Government has approved a proposal for the establishment of a Lawyers Academy in Cuttack. The decision was taken during a key meeting of the Lawyers Welfare Committee chaired by AG Pitambar Acharya, with a formal request submitted to the government for the academy’s foundation.

Alongside this, financial assistance of ₹3.86 crore has been provided to the families of 90 deceased lawyers, aimed at supporting their welfare and honoring their contributions to the legal community.

The meeting highlighted the importance of institutional support for legal professionals, and the academy is expected to provide training, resources, and professional development for lawyers across the state.
