Lady IIC Arrested by Vigilance While Taking ₹20,000 Bribe in Koraput

ବନ୍ଧାହେଲେ ଲେଡି ଆଇଆଇସି । ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସ ଜାଲରେ ଲାଞ୍ଚୁଆ ଆଇଆଇସି। ୨୦ ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କା ଲାଞ୍ଚ ନେବାବେଳେ ଧରାପଡ଼ି ବନ୍ଧାହେଲେ କୋରାପୁଟ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଦଶମନ୍ତପୁର ଥାନା ଆଇଆଇସି ସୁକୁମା ହାଁସଦା। କୋର୍ଟରେ ବିଚାରାଧୀନ ଏକ ମାମଲାରେ ଡାଏରୀ ଦାଖଲ ପାଇଁ ନେଉଥିଲେ ଲାଞ୍ଚ। ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସ ଚଢାଉ କରି ଲାଞ୍ଚ ଅର୍ଥ ଜବତ କରିବା ସହିତ ସୁକୁମାଙ୍କ ଦୁଇଟି ଠିକଣାରେ ଏକକାଳୀନ୍ ରେଡ୍ କରିଛି। ତାଙ୍କୁ ଗିରଫ କରି କୋର୍ଟଚାଲାଣ କରାଯାଇଥିବା ନେଇ ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସ ଏସପି ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ।

A lady Inspector-in-Charge (IIC) has been arrested by Odisha Vigilance while allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹20,000. The accused, Sukuma Hansda, IIC of Dasmantpur police station in Koraput district, was caught red-handed during the transaction.

According to Vigilance officials, the bribe was being taken for submitting a case diary related to a matter pending before a court. Vigilance officers seized the bribe money and conducted simultaneous raids at two locations linked to the accused.
