କୋରାପୁଟ ସହର ଦେଇ ଜାତୀୟ ରାଜପଥ ଯାଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ସବୁ ବେଳେ ଟ୍ରାଫିକ ସମସ୍ୟା ଜାରି ରହିଛି। ଏପଟେ ରାସ୍ତାକଡରେ ଜବରଦଖଲ ବଢ଼ିଚାଲିଛି ଆଉ ସେପଟେ ସହର ଭିତର ଡ୍ରେନ ଉପରେ କବଜା କରିଛନ୍ତି ଉଠାଦୋକାନୀ। ତେଣୁ ଆଜି ସହରର ବସଷ୍ଟାଣ୍ଡ ଠାରୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରି ଜାତୀୟ ରାଜପଥର ଉଭୟପଟ ରାସ୍ତାର ଦୋକାନ ଗୃହ ଓ କ୍ୟାବିନର ଆଂଶିକ ଓ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଉଚ୍ଛେଦ କରାଯାଇଛି।

Koraput Turns Tense: Shops Demolished for Encroachment, Market Shut in Protest

A massive eviction drive was launched in Koraput today following instructions from the District Collector. Illegal encroachments along the National Highway and inside the town were demolished by the municipality and police.
However, the drive triggered strong protests as traders shut down markets, surrounded officials and tried to block bulldozers. The municipal chairperson later held talks, assuring proper arrangements for drains and parking.
