A group of government job aspirants say they study day and night in the library, often eating meals there just to prepare for competitive exams. Speaking about their struggle, one aspirant described the hardship of balancing food and study while aiming for secure employment.

He expressed frustration over the physical fitness requirements for police jobs, especially when younger candidates around ages 20–25 can barely meet the standards, yet older individuals near 60 are also considered. He questioned whether physical standards fairly reflect the needs of law enforcement recruitment.

In his own words:
“We study in the library day and night, eating food and enduring a lot of hardship. We are around 20–25 years old — how can someone close to 60 meet physical fitness for a police job?”

This highlights the emotional and physical challenges faced by unemployed youth preparing for public sector opportunities, raising questions about age and fitness norms in government recruitment.
