ଖୋର୍ଦ୍ଧା ନବୋଦୟ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଜଣ୍ଡିସ ସଂକ୍ରମିତ ଘଟଣା । ୭ ଦିନ ପାଇଁ ଛୁଟି ଘୋଷଣା କଲେ ଅଧକ୍ଷା। ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ହଷ୍ଟେଲ ଛାଡ଼ିବାକୁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ। ନବୋଦୟ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ସମିତି କମିଶନରଙ୍କ ନେତୃତ୍ୱରେ ଟିମ୍ ପହଞ୍ଚି ସ୍ଥିତି ପରଖିଛନ୍ତି । ଖୋର୍ଦ୍ଧା ଜବାହାର ନବୋଦୟ ସ୍କୁଲର ପିଲାମାନେ ଶୀତକାଳୀନ ଛୁଟି ସାରି କିଛିଦିନ ତଳେ ସ୍କୁଲକୁ ଫେରିଥିଲେ । ଆସିବା ପରେ ଅଳ୍ପ କେତେଜଣ ପିଲା ଜଣ୍ଡିସ ଆକ୍ରାନ୍ତ ହୋଇଥିବା ଦେଖିବାକୁ ମିଳିଥିଲା । ପରେ ପରେ ୫୦ରୁ ଅଧିକ ପିଲା ଆକ୍ରାନ୍ତ ହୋଇଥିଲେ । ଆକ୍ରାନ୍ତମାନଙ୍କୁ ଖୋର୍ଦ୍ଧା ଡାକ୍ତରଖାନାରେ ଭର୍ତ୍ତି କରାଯାଇଛି । ୨୦୦ରୁ ଅଧିକ ପିଲାଙ୍କୁ ଅଭିଭାବକ ମାନେ ଘରକୁ ନେଇଯାଇଛନ୍ତି।

A jaundice outbreak has been reported at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Khordha district, prompting the school authorities to declare a seven-day holiday and instruct students to vacate the hostel. The decision was taken after a growing number of students were found infected following their return from winter vacation.

More than 50 students were reportedly affected, and those infected have been admitted to the Khordha hospital for treatment. As a precautionary measure, parents have taken over 200 students back to their homes. A team led by the Commissioner of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti visited the school and reviewed the situation on the ground.
