In a fresh development, Piyush Tripathy’s lawyer has stated that there is no restriction on him going on stage, and he can perform without hindrance. However, the legal case against him will continue, and will be decided based on the evidence presented in court.

The lawyer clarified that while the court has permitted the actor to resume performances under interim relief, the main contractual dispute — filed by a jatra troupe alleging breach of agreement — remains active and will be dealt with through proper judicial procedures.

This comes amid ongoing coverage of the controversy surrounding Piyush Tripathy’s eligibility to perform on stage, which previously included a temporary restraining order and reserve judgment by the Bhubaneswar court.
