BJP leader Arindam Ray indirectly targeted BJD leader Pranab Prakash Das without naming him, using a film dialogue. Korei MLA Akash Das Nayak also launched a sharp attack, saying the people of Korei will decide their own future and will no longer be misled. Similar political attacks were witnessed on the same stage last year as well, making the festival a recurring hotspot for political statements.
