The situation in Iran has turned extremely volatile, with intense anti-government protests continuing across the country. Former US President Donald Trump has issued repeated war threats, while Iranian authorities have imposed martial law to suppress unrest. Orders have reportedly been issued to shoot on sight, and violence has claimed at least 3,500 lives so far.

Amid the crisis, concerns have grown over the safety of Indians in Iran. Nearly 10,000 Indian nationals are believed to be stranded. In view of the deteriorating situation, the Ministry of External Affairs has issued an advisory urging Indians to avoid travel to Iran.
