After the India-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (FTA) was concluded, Indian traders say India will now “taste” New Zealand apples as the pact includes duty concessions and tariff quotas on apples and other agricultural products, which could make the import of these fruits and goods simpler and cheaper. Under the agreement, New Zealand becomes the first country to secure tariff concessions on apples in an Indian FTA.
