Illicit Country Liquor Trade Busted Inside Dense Forests of Cuttack, Police Raid Destroys Huge Stock

An illegal country liquor business was operating deep inside dense forest areas when Khuntuni Police conducted a surprise raid. The operation was carried out in Dalua, Kansar, Baunsa Tangor, Sadaka Sahi, Padapathar, Patiasahi, Luni Padia and Khanduali reserve forest areas under Athagarh in Cuttack district. Police destroyed around 1,800 litres of fermented liquor and seized 40 litres of country liquor. Liquor mafia fled the spot during the raid. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
