Congress MLA Mangu Khila alleged that during the previous BJD government, V K Pandian wielded all-encompassing power and misappropriated large amounts of government funds. He said the BJP had opposed this when it was in the Opposition and questioned what action the present BJP government will take now. Khil added that if the government wants, a proper investigation and action are possible.
