Dr Chandan Gadanayak, Director of Cuttack City Hospital in Odisha, said he is even more tense than the protesting doctors as the statewide doctors’ agitation enters another day. The protest began on December 26, with government doctors halting Outpatient Department (OPD) services for two hours from 9 AM to 11 AM daily to press their demands, even as emergency services continue.
