A major police raid has created sensation in Jagatsinghpur after four suspected Bangladeshi nationals were detained from a rented house near Tarikunda Fandi in Beherampur basti under Sadar police limits. During the late-night raid, police seized a firearm along with a large quantity of sharp weapons including machetes, cutters and knives. The key accused and house owner Sikandar Alam alias Siku managed to escape from the spot.
