In a landmark event, 170 Maoists, including central committee leader Rupesh, have surrendered their arms today near the Indravati River, crossing into Bijapur district, Chhattisgarh from the Malkangiri border area. The surrender follows coordinated movement of cadres from Indravati and Maad divisions.
