Gunfire Erupts at Komana Puruna Block Junction Ahead of Nuapada By-Election

ନୂଆପଡ଼ା ଉପନିର୍ବାଚନ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଫୁଟିଲା ଗୁଳି। ଗତ ରାତିରେ କୋମନା ପୁରୁଣା ବ୍ଲକ ଛକରେ ହୋଇଥିବା ପାଟିତୁଣ୍ଡ। ମିଳିଥିବା ସୂଚନା ମୁତାବକ, କୋରାପୁଟ ବିଧାୟକଙ୍କ ପିଏସଓଙ୍କ ସହ ଜଣେ ଯୁବକ କୋମନା ପୁରୁଣା ବ୍ଲକ ଛକରେ ଥିଲେ। ଏହି ସମୟରେ କିଛି ଯୁବକଙ୍କ ସହ ପାଟିତୁଣ୍ଡ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ପରେ ସ୍ଥିତି ବିଗିଡ଼ିବା ସହ ବିଧାୟକଙ୍କ ପିଏସଓ ଫାଙ୍କା ଗୁଳି ଚଳାଇଥିଲେ।

Last night, at the Komana Puruna block junction in Nuapada district, gunfire broke out during an incident involving the PSO of the Koraput MLA and a group of youths. According to information received, the PSO accompanying the MLA of Koraput was present at the junction along with a young man when the situation escalated and the PSO opened fire. The Komana police have registered a criminal case in the name of the PSO of the MLA.
