ନୂଆବର୍ଷ ପିକନିକ୍ ବେଳେ କମେଣ୍ଟମରାକୁ ନେଇ ଦୁଇ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ମାରପିଟ୍। ପାରାଦୀପ ଲକ ଥାନା ଅଂଚଳରେ ଏହି ଗଣ୍ଡଗୋଳ ଘଟିଛି। ବିଶ୍ବାଳି ଗାଁ ଏବଂ ଭୂତମୁଣ୍ଡାଇ ଗାଁର ଯୁବକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଗଣ୍ଡଗୋଳ ହୋଇଛି। ଏଥିରେ ଉଭୟପକ୍ଷର ଯୁବକ ଆହତ ହୋଇଥିଲେ। ଯାହାକୁ ନେଇ ବିଶ୍ବାଳି ଗାଁର ଯୁବକ ବିଶ୍ବଜିତ ତରାଇଙ୍କୁ ଭୂତମୁଣ୍ଡାଇର କିଛି ଲୋକ ଉଠାଇ ନେଇ ମାଡ ମାରିବା ସହ ଦୀର୍ଘ ସମୟ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଅଟକ ରଖିଥିଲେ। ଖବର ପାଇ ପୋଲିସ ବିଶ୍ବଜିତଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରି ହସ୍ପିଟାଲକୁ ନେଇ ଚିକିତ୍ସା କରାଇଛି।

A violent clash broke out between two groups of youths during a New Year picnic over a comment-related dispute in the Paradip Lock Police Station area. The incident involved youths from Bishwali village and Bhutmundai village, leading to injuries on both sides.
Following the clash, Biswajit Tarai of Bishwali village was allegedly abducted by some youths from Bhutmundai village, assaulted and detained for a long time. He sustained injuries during the assault.
On receiving information, police rushed to the spot, rescued Biswajit and shifted him to hospital for treatment. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
