A gas godown owner was shot at in Karamdihi area of Sundargarh district in Odisha. The victim, identified as Arun Naik, sustained serious injuries and was shifted to Rourkela for advanced medical treatment.

According to preliminary information, the firing was carried out with the intention of robbery. After opening fire, the miscreants managed to flee from the spot.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident and efforts are on to trace the accused. Further details are awaited as the probe continues.
