Controversy continues to haunt Ravenshaw University as, after students, teachers have now launched a protest. Members of the Ravenshaw Teachers’ Association sat on a dharna in front of the Vice-Chancellor’s office, alleging that the university’s development has stalled despite government grants being sanctioned.

The teachers alleged that government funds meant for Ravenshaw are not being utilised, leading to the money being returned. They blamed the authorities’ delay and evasive approach for the situation, claiming it is causing the university to steadily lose its prestige.

The agitation was launched specifically over the non-utilisation of government grant money for developmental works at Ravenshaw University, intensifying the ongoing unrest on campus.
