Four Maoists, Including Three Women, Surrender Before Kandhamal Police With Arms and Equipment

କନ୍ଧମାଳ ପୋଲିସ ନିକଟରେ ଆତ୍ମସମର୍ପଣ କଲେ ୪ଜଣ ମାଓବାଦୀ। ୪ ଜଣଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତିନିଜଣ ମହିଳା ଓ ଜଣେ ପୁରୁଷ ମାଓବାଦୀ ରହିଛନ୍ତି। ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରୁ ବନ୍ଧୁକ, ମାଓ ପୋଷାକ, ଗୁଳି, ସହ ୱାକିଟକୀ, ମେଡିସିନ ଏବଂ ବହୁ ମାଓ ସାମଗ୍ରୀ ଜବତ କରାଯାଇଛି।

In a major breakthrough, four Maoists—including three women and one male cadre—surrendered before Kandhamal Police. The surrendered members belong to the KKBN division. Police seized firearms, ammunition, Maoist uniforms, walkie-talkies, medicines, and other Maoist materials from them. Despite this, around 50 Maoists are still believed to be active in Kandhamal district. DIG Neeti Shekhar has appealed to the remaining cadres to surrender and join the mainstream.
